How do I compress a PNG image?

Can I compress an image to 100 KB, 1 MB, or another exact size?
There is no target-size setting: the tool applies one strong compression level automatically. If your image is still too big for a form or a website, first reduce its width and height with Resize Images, then compress it here. Smaller dimensions make the biggest difference.
How much smaller will my images be?
It depends on the image. In our tests, high-quality photos became about 70 to 80% smaller, and PNG screenshots about 70% smaller. Images that were already compressed before shrink much less.
Does compressing an image reduce its quality?
The compression is lossy, but it is tuned so that most photos look the same at normal viewing size. The width and height of your image don't change. If you need the absolute best quality for printing, keep a copy of your original file.
Can I compress many images at once?
Yes. Select up to 50 images at once, each up to 200 MB, click "Compress", and download them all in one ZIP file. Each compressed image keeps its original name with "-compressed" added.
How do I compress an image on iPhone?
